"Those that are the happiest are those who do the most for others."  - Booker T. Washington

Study Finds Doing Good, Feels Good.

Giving has been proven to decrease blood pressure and reduce stress. This reduction promotes longer life and better health. Giving promotes social connection. Studies show that when you give to others, your generosity is often continued down the line to someone else, or returned to you.

Care Warriors Incorporated is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.  As a new nonprofit seeking grants and other funding, we currently rely on donations.  Any amount donated is greatly appreciated.  All donations go directly to our Care Warrior participants or to pay for the tutors and instructors that directly support the program participants.

giving is great

Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.

How Your Gifts Make a Real Difference

“There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.”
– Edith Wharton

When you donate to Care Warriors, you help make the difference you're unable to provide with our own hands. Your gift not only helps us achieve our mission, — you are also empowered to transform the lives of individuals with specials needs and those that are at risk. You become a mobilized Care Warrior who plays a part in making the world a better place. Here are examples of what your gifts allow us to achieve.

$10 Pays For

Grooming and Personal Care Products

Personal care, and grooming is part of our life skills training. Often times we serve students who do not have the basic personal items, and Care Warriors will provide these to them.  These items are equally important  for our vocational skills training as we teach how to groom and dress for job interviews. Your donation will pay for toothpaste and  brushes, combs, deodorant, feminine hygiene products and more.

$25 Pays For

Educational Supplies  Software, Games and Technology

Students learn faster and retain more when the instruction is engaging and fun. This is especially useful for those with communication, processing, spatial and other cognitive challenges. Your donation pays for fidgets, shaving cream, rice, visuals, manipulatives, low level reading books, reward stickers, paints and other teaching tools.

$100 Pays For...

4 Hours of Professional Special Education Instruction For At-Risk Students

Using their experience educating children with mental and physical disabilities, special education specialists create and implement strategies for children to overcome developmental delays. They focus on hands-on training, observations, assessments, planning and more.  Most of all, we expect a Care Warrior instructor to be organized, adaptable, naturally calming, patient and kind. Your donation helps us contract and keep the best instructors for our students.

$300 Pays For...

“I’ve just started with CareWarriors and as a divorced working mother of 2 tweens, I am very thankful that I have met Ms Raeme and Ms. Linda. They have been such a positive influence for my children. Since they have joined our family, my kids feel happy and proud that they can do daily tasks for themselves and have fun too. I have heard nothing but good things about them from AnyBaby Can and Communities in Schools and gave them a chance. I am so happy I did!”

“I'd like to share that you and Care Warriors were a God-send to my family for our daughter, Camielle. She has blossomed as an artist through the art therapy she receives, having painted a number of beautiful, quality pieces. We have seen her become more engaged in her communication with us. She successfully went on two job interviews, one of which has asked her to provide follow up information. And lastly, we were so delighted to see her use all the skills she's learned in art and the pursuit of education, with her young niece and nephew a few days ago. Way to Go Camielle! Thank you Raeme and Care Warriors for the work you are doing with our daughter. We look forward to her continued blossoming, growth and development, around her autism diagnosis, as she continues in her season of support and coaching from Care Warriors.”

“My son has managed to live independently for 6 years away from his family due to your expertise in mentoring, monitoring and encouraging him to self-advocate and build skills for independent living. I am glad that Raeme has chosen to serve others who have no one on their side as they come of age and are no longer in foster care. She is their best guide. I am so excited for her commitment to serve humanity in this area. ”
