Gloria Benavidez Rodriguez

For over 30 years, she has served as the Founder, President & CEO of DASA Spa on
the Riverwalk, one of San Antonio’s most prestigious wellness destinations. Under
her leadership, DASA Spa has been consistently rated the #1 spa in San Antonio—a
city nationally recognized as a hospitality hub—and has built deep, enduring
partnerships with the Hyatt Regency and local hotels. Her work at DASA has touched
thousands of visitors, nurturing a unique brand of healing that blends luxury,
compassion, and integrity.
In parallel, Gloria led the founding and development of Ma Hila’s Heart, a nonprofit
organization created in honor of her mother and great-grandmother. For over 14
years, she served as, Founder and President & CEO, where she envisioned and
delivered programs for families battling childhood cancer. From private Christmas
parties to citywide healing events, Gloria and her team served hundreds of families,
always with a focus on dignity, hope, and personal connection. She cultivated trusted
relationships with parents, hospitals, community leaders, and donors who came to
know her as a steady presence and compassionate advocate.

integrity amid difficult transitions, Gloria brings heart-centered leadership rooted in
